ABOUT THESE VINTAGE PRINTS...

We are a small family business specialising in the sale of prints from original vintage oil paintings.  All of the prints you can purchase on this site were painted by my late grandfather from the 1960s until the 1990s. He was a hobby artist and painted for the love of painting with most of his art being commissioned by friends and family. Towards the late 1980s and 90s he sold his work at craft fayres and specialist art dealers but to a greater degree he remained undiscovered and therefore his artwork is both exquisite and rare.

The original oil paintings remain part of our private collection and as they have remained within our family for decades, these prints are only available from us at 'These Vintage Prints'.

All of our prints are named after the person who owned or commissioned the original painting before it came back to our family, there is a story behind every one of them!

 

Please browse our shop as there is a print here for everyone and do keep checking back as we hope to eventually add all of the prints from the collection.  These prints are made even more special by the fact that our collection is not infinite, but we do know there must be original paintings still out there unassumingly adorning walls around the world.
